Service Description
The Institute for Anatomical Research (IAR) is pleased to announce a new 4-Day Cadaver Dissection Workshop, led by master dissector and lab director Jim Pulciani. This workshop is ideal for movement professionals, massage therapists, bodyworkers, educators, and artists seeking a hands-on, respectful exploration of human anatomy. This immersive course offers participants the opportunity to dissect human donors layer by layer, exploring anatomical systems from the skin to the skeleton in a sequential, integrative format. Our goal is to foster deep anatomical insight, tactile confidence, and a more embodied understanding of the human form through this guided learning experience. You’ll work in small groups of 5–7 participants per table, alternating between guided dissection demonstrations and hands-on lab sessions, to dissect both embalmed and/or unembalmed cadaver, with support from Jim Pulciani and experienced assistants. While the dissection experience is serious and impactful, we hold the space with deep respect, safety, and emotional care for all involved. Approved for 28 CE credits through NCBTMB. Whether you’re refining your touch as a massage therapist, improving movement cueing as a teacher, or deepening your anatomical understanding, this workshop is a transformative opportunity to see, feel, and learn directly from the body itself. Course Fee: $950 USD Payment is collected via PayPal. You may use your credit or debit card to process payment.
