An engaging STEM/STEAM experience for upper high school students, Anatomy for Life brings students into the lab for a hands-on exploration of the human body—encouraging curiosity, body positivity and acceptance, while demonstrating how our choices can impact our bodies and health and inspiring healthier practices for life.

Anatomy for Life gives upper high school students an opportunity to experience human anatomy in a way that goes far beyond the classroom. In our state-of-the-art laboratory, students explore the human body through hands-on anatomical study, guided by experienced instructors who encourage curiosity, questions, and thoughtful discovery. The experience offers students a unique opportunity to see the incredible diversity of the human body while developing a deeper understanding of anatomy, health, and the choices that can shape our well-being.

Hands-On Anatomy Learning
Go beyond textbooks and diagrams to experience real human anatomy firsthand. Students explore the remarkable complexity and diversity of the human body through hands-on anatomical study, gaining a deeper understanding of how its many systems work together. Along the way, they discover that there is no single “normal” human body—each one is unique, complex, and worthy of understanding and respect.
A Life-Changing Field Trip
Anatomy Tours
Allow us to take your upper class High School students on a body positive journey. In this 1-2 hour class, we will explore a human body that has been prepared through anatomical dissection. Students will see muscles, nerves, blood vessels and major organs. Along the way, we will point out variations as well as any pathology; this will open up discussions with your students about what health problems may have caused these conditions and what could be better and healthier choices while still promoting acceptance for these variations. The tour is heavy on participation and engaging the students to explore as opposed to full on lecture.
